Alexander H. Mun
About
Attorney Alexander H. Mun, is a well-respected and knowledgeable health care attorney. Since joining Horn Wright, Attorney Mun has successfully secured millions of dollars for the Firm’s health care clients in the collection of their no-fault claims, in both arbitration and litigation. Over the course of his career, Attorney Mun has successfully arbitrated and litigated thousands of no-fault claims.
Attorney Mun also represents the Firm’s health care clients in the federal and state trial courts, defending them in RICO actions, Declaratory Judgment actions, and complex commercial litigation. Additionally, he defends the Firm’s health care clients in Examinations Under Oath (“EUOs”), and in actions by the NYS Education Department’s Office of Professional Discipline.
In 2003, Attorney Mun completed his undergraduate studies at New York University. In 2010, he completed his legal studies at Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
Attorney Mun is licensed to practice in New York, California, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
Attorney Mun is proud to give back to the community. He was recently appointed to the Board of Trustees at SUNY Old Westbury. Mr. Mun serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for the Korean American Youth Foundation and on the Asian American Advisory Council to the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office. Mr. Mun previously served as Executive Vice President of Legal Affairs for the Korean American Association of Queens and as a member of the Korean Help Initiative’s Legal Committee, assisting Korean non-profit organizations. As a member of the Korean American Lawyers Association of Greater New York, Mr. Mun has mentored both law students and newly admitted attorneys.
